Skilled labor shortages are a widespread problem. It is becoming more and more difficult to find suitable skilled workers or junior staff, especially outside the metropolitan areas and especially in skilled trades.
Why is that? On the one hand, it is certainly due to the fact that more and more workers are being drawn to the cities, where higher salaries are paid - on the other hand, because of the increasing demand in the craft sector and the resulting more jobs that have to be processed. This quickly leads to staff shortages. If employees are absent due to illness or vacation, an alternative must be found. But where do you get it from and not steal? Using the usual job platforms, it is hardly possible to find qualified personnel and if so, it costs a lot of money.
The solution is called: "Social Recruiting". Companies introduce themselves using specially produced applicant videos and can convince potential employees of the advantages of their company. These videos are distributed on social media as part of an advertising campaign and interested workers can get in touch and even take an aptitude test in advance on a special landing page.
